PST files over LAN

Hi all,

We are in the process of upgrading from Outlook 2000 to XP. Currently
all users have thir mail delivered to their PST file on the network,
this has been working fine with Outlook 2000. I have noticed when
upgrading a few machines that Outlook XP wont open the PST, it hangs
and returns an error stating the PST cant be opened - it seems to be
PSTs greater than 200MB - reverting back to 2000 and outlook opens the
PST. I know Microsoft dont recommed this.

Does anyone have a work around that will enable Outlook XP to open
these PSTs.

Thanks.

It really shouldn't be a problem. Before I set quota's on the user's
homefolders I had someone with a pst of well over 700MB. Try running
scanpst.exe on the file and see if it comes up with anything.

Hope this helps!
