Pub '02 Clipart jumps

Judy

When I click on clipart the whole page "jumps" to the
right. When I click off of it, the page jumps to the
left. It's annoying, especially when I'm trying to line
up the clipart with the rest of the document. Any
suggestions?

Try undocking the Clip Organiser

Judy this will be an issue of your video driver.
Go to the website of your video card manufacturer and download and install
the latest driver for your video card.

I don't have the box the computer came in, anymore.
Without the box, I have no idea how to find out anything
about what's on my Windows XP computer. How would I find
out what kind of video driver I have? When I go to My
Computer and click on System (something?)I get a warning
that I shouldn't mess with it, so I don't :>)

Right-click My Computer
Properties
Hardware
Device Manager
(Ignore any messages)
Look under Display Adaptors

FWIW, you should always keep any manuals that come with your system.

You could also contact your computer manufacturer. Give them the serial
number and they should be able to tell you more than you want to know.

You can also try going to the manufacturer's website. The tech support area
often has a place where you can enter your serial number and it will tell
you what came in your computer "from the factory".

Hope this helps.

Unless your computer is from Advent and is more than a year old, in which
case you're screwed. Until you head over to UKTSupport.co.uk

The sad thing is there are alot more than just Advent computers that are no
longer made. I figured that it was worth letting the original poster know
that *if* it was a major brand, a little trip to the website would probably
fill in the empty spaces. It's worth a shot, right?

I don't think Ed was contradicting you, I think he was
just venting about Advent ;-)

I got that impression as well. :)

Ah yes, but they *do* still make Advents - but for about three years Advent
had no website at all, and the current website has no details or support for
previous models.
Luckily, www.uktsupport.co.uk has details on the Advent models (take a look
under the Humour section too :D)

Grab a part of the Task Pane with nothing on, and drag it into the main
window
