PUB File - two users

My associate created a document (2 column) and sent it to me for final touch
ups, along with a PDF representation of the file. When I open the PUB, the
single page document now spans two pages - unlike the PDF. We are using a
simple font - available on both PCs. When I've made the text fit on a single
page, print to PDF, and return PUB and PDF file to him, he sees the PUB with
extra white space in the lower left right - which I guess I expected based on
the way the file spilled to two pages for me, and not for him.

Is there something I can look at to better understand what could be the
differences between our two configurations (displays, fonts etc.) that would
help us make a file that is actually sharable, or is the PUB file only good
for the machine it was created on?

Thank you,
Dave Miller

Well if we're both printing to Adobe PDF files, Version 6.x, what should we
look for? At this point, we can't do anything since his version will span two
pages on my PC, and after adjusting and resending to him, it will print with
extra space on his. The amount of difference is significant.

Thanks.
Dave

When the page was setup originally, you probably did not specify Acrobat and
created the document with the default printer enabled.

The only other thing I can think of would be different versions of Publisher or
the service pack hasn't been installed.
