Publish subweb

Does any know if the following would cause problems?

I developed a website on my local PC using IIS SE 2002 and frontpage 2002.
The site is developed as a subweb on my local pc and then I publish to my
internet host as a web. I receive errors that some folders can't be created
when I publish to my internet host. Could these errors be coming from a
subweb being published as a website.
