Publish to Web

Lorna

I've tried umpteen times to publish my multiple-page site to the web using
Publisher 2003, both by using an FTP site and a web location. Every time I
have only been able to get the first page displayed. I thought I was
following exactly what was written by Microsoft. Can someone please tell me
what I'm doing wrong.

As Don suggests, be sure that you upload not only the 'index.htm' file (your
home page) but also the 'index_files' folder which contains your other pages
and supporting graphics.

If you have a follow up question or other questions about Publisher webs,
then in the future please post in the web group and we will try to help you
there:

Thank you Don and David. Yes, I'm absolutely certain that I uploaded both
index.htm and Index_Files. I watched them both being uploaded through my FTP
software. Still only the first page appears online.
My site address is users.chariot.net.au.

David, I will also try the other discussion groups you mentioned. Thank you.

users.chariot.net.au is not the URL to your website. It redirects to
http://www.chariot.net.au/ which I am assume is your web host. What is your
domain name?

Also is the web hosting 'free space' that comes with your internet service?

Perhaps you should read the instructions from your web host about where to
upload your web files...where is the root directory, and maybe even how to
direct your domain name. Once you get those basics figured out, repost this
issue with your domain name or a working link to your website, to the web
design group.
