Publisher 2002 Freezes Up

I have a problem where right after I start Microsoft Publisher 2002, before I
can do

anything, it freeze's up. It used to be ok..... I cannot even do a
Ctl-Alt_Del. The only

out is to shut off power. I have tried the following:

1. Restore to a point that was 30 days ago.
2. Un-installed and re-installed Microsoft Publisher
3. Rolled back the display adapter driver.
4. Deleted and re-established the user profile
5. Shut down all programs and services that were not esential.
6. Ran anti-virus and "mal-ware" detectors, nothing found.

I am running Vista Home Premium 32 Bit OS with service pack 1 on a computer
with dual Intel

processors running @ 2.66 Ghz with 2 Gb memory.

Please help, it will be greatly appreciated.

The graphics driver on the machine when the problem started was a jan 2007
driver and I rolled it back to a 2006 driver with no change, then back to the
2007 one.

The computer freezes when I start the program, before I can open up a file.

Vista SP1 and Office SP3 have been added to the computer after the problem
began, still no help.

Thanks for helping, need to fix this.......
