I've just installed 2003 where did the red guide lines go? I used to have both blue and red guide lines in 2002 now I only have the one blue line (around the page) can I get the red lines back?

Microsoft decided that nobody used the pink guides around the edge of the
page.
However, if you use the Layout Guides to divide the page up into multiple
columns/rows, you can get the pink guides in addition to the blue guides
where the divisions are (but not around the edge)

Damn I liked and relied on those pink lines! Thanks for the reply and explanation

You must be one of the few who liked those damn awful pink useless guides.
They served no useful purpose whatsoever and caused heaps of issues with
snapping etc.

I do like to be unusual ;) I used the pink lines to line up my graphics
etc to the page and the blue lines showed me I was still within my set
margins. Now with just blue lines I'm now not sure if I have gone beyond
my "boundaries"

Tricia, are you doing your utmost best to become a Tasmanian!!!
Not far to swim across the pond me dear. They will welcome you with open
arms and make you feel warm and fuzzy. They are all completely and totally
'unusual' so you will be right at home with the bunch.

You are obviously not using the guides as they should be used.

We never had those damned awful pink lines till some *.* person who knows
*NOTHING* about DTP introduced them. Why, who knows.

We never had the stupid things in Publisher till Pub 95 or 97.

There is no need to be rude, I may not be using the guides as they
"should" be used however that's the way I was using them, it would have
been more helpful to reply with a "better" way. If you don't want to
help me why reply to my post in the first place.

Tricia, move immediately to Tasmania. Do not pass go and do not collect
$200 - go directly to jail (Tasmania).
