Publisher 2003 will not show me any objects on the screen

but they print out just fine. I can move the objects on the screen but I can
not see the actual object.


Help...

I am having exactly the same problem with MS Publisher 2003. Graphics do not
show, word art does not appear, lines do not appear. The print -- both on a
printer and in PDF files, but they do NOT appear in Publisher. With this
exception: when I opened the "help" window, and expanded it, the graphics
(not lines) would appear. When I tried to change their size, they
disappeared . . .untill I reopened and expanded the "help" window. This
started on 1/7/05 to the best of my knowledge. Publisher had been installed
on this computer when it was new in September and has been used since then.
I have uninstalled Publisher and reinstalled it and that effects no
improvement. I have not checked all my existing publisher files, but some
are not affected. The same file that does NOT display graphics on this
computer (desk) does display them on my laptop.

I would appreciate help.

Oh, yes. I am sure I have. I know I have added Pinnacle recently, and have
updated other things. That is why I uninstalled and then reinstalled
Publisher today. HOWEVER, since my prior posting, it seems to be working.
That is mysterious, is it not?
