publisher 2007 cannot open file

I have just spent a couple of hours creating a file in Publisher 2007. After
saving the file, Publisher cannot open it. That is the error message I get.
I don't know if it matters, but I created the file by importing a Word 2007
file and then rearranging the items. Why can Publisher not open the file? How
can I recover the file?

did nothing for me, but it could be your answer.

Neither of these solutions help. Does anyone know why Publisher 2007 cannot
