Publisher 2007 - printing to file

When I try to print to file using a generic postscript driver (downloaded
from Adobe) the system allows me to browse to choose a location but when I
click to save I get a message: "Waiting for printer to respond: Generic
PostScript Printer". Since I am not printing to a printer but to file no
printer responds so the message just sits there until I click "Cancel". A
file is created but it is empty. The same thing happens when I try to Save as
Postscript in the SaveTo menu.

I have not had this problem with previous versions of Publisher.

Have you thought about installing Publisher's Imagesetter or the Office PDF?

I have done this and it works fine. However, it does not explain why
Publisher 2007 wants a respoinse from a printer when you are trying to print
to file. Celarly a bug.
