I just installed MS Professional 2003 on a new computer, I having trouble
emailing a publisher document as a message. I do have the option to send as a
mesage, so when I click send as message and type the email address in and
click send, exit out of publisher and try to open outlook, outlook will not
open up. (It is default email application)
If I bring up the task manager, under processes there are two applications
of outlook running.
How do I fix this issue?

I can email attachments without issue. The purpose of emailing as a mesages
is create and send email newsletters to my customers for my business.I would
appreciate all your help, I have tried detect and repair, I have removed MS
Professional 2003 and re installed, I have had all the updates to office, I
am at my wits end.

When you choose Send e-mail from the File drop down message, you are given
three choices:
1. Send this page (only one page and it is converted to a .bmp file which is
a quite large file.)
2. Send as attachment.
3. Preview...

I would bet that most of your customers don't have Publisher and couldn't
read it if you attached it. You could convert it to a pdf and attach the
pdf. Free http://www.primopdf.com and http://www.win2pdf.com

I would suggest an HTML newsletter which can be as long as your care to make
it.
Read this: http://www.microsoftfrontpage.com/usingfp/newsletters/
If you don't want to buy FrontPage, download and install this free open
source program to use instead of FrontPage. It's called NVU.
http://www.nvu.com I send over 1,530 HTML newsletter at a time. See some of
the past issues here:

Good luck!

I appreciate your feedback. I failed to metion that I do convert it to a HTML
document before I send it. It arrives at its destination without issue. My
issue is that MS Outlook will not open after I select the option to send as a
e mail message and send it. I try to open outlook and it will not open. The
application is running in the "processes" in the task manager yet I can not
open the application. I must "end task" for outlook and then open outlook.
