Publisher catalogue Merge

I am trying to use the catalogue merge function in Publisher to produce a
price list. However the merge area repeats the information from left to
right. In order to produce a price list i need the information to repeat from
top to bottom and then from left to right and not vice versa as it is at the
moment. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you do not want to use merge, then make a file in Microsoft exel.
In my example: 5 collums. make the price list in that and if you are done,
copy the cels only!....and paste into Publisher. Do a test first with a vew
textlines in it. You even can use coloring cels and highliting!

Are you using the booklet format? When you re-size the merge area so two or three
columns are produced on one page this is what happens. It is basically producing
labels.
