How about saving the Word document as text and importing into Publisher, does that
work? Can you paste into WordPad and retain the Arabic symbols?

Arabic goes bye-bye in Notepad (duh).

When copying Arabic from the internet, the only way I could get it to work...is Copy/Paste into WORD or WordPad, then Copy/Paste into Publisher.

Helps to have Arabic fonts on the machine, I'm guessing.

I was having fun the other night. I had copied and pasted a Japanese word
(Kogin - a form of pattern darning) from a website and plugged it into
Google. I hit on more sites than I'd previously found. Of course I couldn't
read any of them but the pictures were pretty.

I can't say I've ever heard a man say he looked at the "pretty" pictures.

Why..I look at pretty Kogin pix all the time...and I don't bother to read the text either!
