publisher file print problem

Pamela

I have WindowsXP Pro on a hp laptop. I print to a hp psc1315 all in one printer. When I try to print from Office 2003, mostly publisher, I cannot print, and it hangs my computer.
I have tried going to HP and installing the latest driver, and it still happens I have upgraded my Ram memory to 1 GB and it still happens. The files are large, is there something I'm missing?
I've been through HP assisted support, and Microsoft assisted support, and still have the problem?

HP does have a support document that explains how to free up resources.

Suggest you download the latest driver and then uninstall and reinstall the
printer /properly/.

I tried all of these things. I got publisher to print the business cards BUT it will not print the two graphics that are on the business card?
I appreciate that I can print the text at least from Publisher, but need the logo too?
thanks

For grins and giggles, contact me offline and I'll give you an email addy to
send the file. Let's see if I get the same results with a different printer.

Can you see the images in Print Preview? What format are the images? Are they
embedded or linked? Try deleting the images and re-inserting; images do become
corrupt. Are the images within the margin limitation of your printer?

I've already made sure the "don not print any graphics" is not checked, and I can
print this file from other HP printers, any other suggestions?

JoAnn do you think you need to answer every post with inane garbage???

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. It really depends on my mood and how
strongly I feel the urge to tick you off.

JoAnn take your dexamphetamine tablets and you will be right as rain.

Erm and wouldn't it make her even more incoherent than you perceive her to
be already?!

°

°°MS-Publisher°°

No it would not as JoAnn has an ADHDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD problem and
a few dexamphetamine would fix her right up.
They write millions of prescriptions a year in the US for Ritalin and
dexamphetamine for kids and adults.

Actually I have ADD, not ADHD. Hyperactivity is not an issue. I was taking
Effexor with some success then I lost my job and the insurance with it. I
now have insurance again, thanks to my new husband, but right now it's more
important that he gets the medical attention for his hyperlipidemia
(http://www.americanheart.org/presenter.jhtml?identifier=4600). His health
issues are more ciritcal than mine. Mine just drive Davey nuts, Keith's
could kill him. Sorry Davey - you lose in this battle.

Look, if your oldman divorced you his problem would be solved.
Stress can be a killer and living under the same roof as you would be
sufficient to kill him off.
Get him some cholesterol lowering tablets and margarine and plenty of
exercise and he will be fixed.

If you lived in a country with proper human rights and conditions you could
get full medical treatment for freeeeee including any prescriptions you may
need.

Nothing at all bothers me.

My "old man" is actually about 2½ years younger than I am. He had his heart
attack last year - prior to getting married. And if it hadn't been for me
insisting on taking him to the hospital, he wouldn't have known he was
having a heart attack in the first place. We actually lead a very low-stress
life at home. His job is another issue but his main problem is the
hyperlipidemia. He's tried the statins, etc. All of them damage his liver.
He's taking slow-release niacin right now. It's working but it's a very slow
process. I'm the one who makes sure he exercises and watches his diet.

You are right about the medical care. It's terribly expensive here. I do
what I can but I'm not a deciding factor. Politicians do not care what I
have to say. I don't have enough money to "convince" them to listen to me.

I think it is a fundamental human right for medical care to be available to
everybody in a community, regardless of race, creed or colour.

Argh so you are a cradle snatcher eh!!! LOL

I loathe been crook/sick and my last bout was enough to make sure I don't
get crook again. I have no patience for it, and it just does not suit my
style.

I agree with you but our two voices can't change the world. There was a time
when I thought maybe it could but times are changing and he who has the most
money has the loudest voice.

I don't like being sick myself. Fortunately, I rarely am. The ADD is just
something I have to live with. I'm not in pain and I'm not contagious so I'm
blessed. And I don't want you crook either - I enjoy you as a sparring
partner. ;-)

Jo, what have I told you about arguing with morons? They drag you down to
their level then beat you with experience.
