Publisher flyr printing w/o the program design format chose?

i chose the pre-formatted 'acropolis' design for my flyer, and it shows this
way on my screen but won't print that way. I go to print preview, and it
shows that it will indeed only print the additions I've incorporated. Any
ideas?
