Publisher freezes when Outlook Open

I recently purchased and installed Office 2007 Professional with Outlook
Business Contact Manager and when I try to start Publisher with Outlook
already open Publisher freezes. If Outlook is not open everything works just
fine. Except when I try to email from Publisher it will freeze when Outlook
tries to open and send the email. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you Mary for responding. When I open Publisher 2007 with Outlook 2007
already open Publisher freezes before I have a chance to open any files. If
Outlook is not open Publisher works just fine. I have Norton and have run
Live update to keep it current.

Thank you Mary I have now disabled Norton Antivirus plugin with no help. More
information this seems to only occur between Outlook and Publisher. If I open
Excel or word or any other office software I do not seem to have this problem.
