Publisher issues when copying & pasting online clipart

I have had several occasions where Publisher will commit an error and that
micorsoft box pops up that says Publisher has encountered a problem and needs
to close with the option to send or not send an error report to microsoft.
This is an intermitent problem sometimes it happens sometimes not. It has
only occurred while searching Microsoft's site for clipart, copying this
clipart, or pasting this clipart to a brochure. One time it said that
Publisher had committed multiple errors and asked if I wanted to send or not
send a report to microsoft. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you ever clicked on the details of the error? What does it say?

Clear your temp cache, might help, in IE, tools, Internet Options, delete files.

Your video driver may need updating.

The error I am getting is not the standard error with the red circle and
white X, The box comes up from microsoft stating that the program has had a
problem and will close along with a send and don't send box. The next time
it happens I will look for a details option. I clear my temp files
constantly with CCleaner, and the video driver is the newest version. This
error happens intermitently. I might search, copy & paste clipart several
times and not have a problem at all. Then, on another day, it might occur on
two different occasions then be OK, and on another day be fine. Cannot
reproduce with any consistancy. Any further information would be
appreciated. Thanks

Does it happen if you use the download feature for clipart at the same site? (rather than copy/paste?)

That I have not tried. Even if it works correctly. Is it common when using
the copy and paste option? Just seems strange??? I will try your suggestion
next time I need clipart. Will it download to the correct folder in office
without me telling it where it needs to go???

You'll be prompted for where the dl'd clips go, depends on which version clip gallery you have.

Dunno, if this is your prob or not...I know some image formats do not travel well through the clipboard.
