Publisher missing?

I recently purchased a copy of Microsoft Office XP Professional. On
installation, I am able to see Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Access and
FrontPage. However I am unable to find where the Microsoft Publisher bit is.

Either it's hidden away, or it's not there. I've done a search on my PC,
which does not turn up anything. I've also looked at the installation discs
and they don't seem to have a Publisher installation option, although there
is reference to it in some of the associated documentation.

Am I doing something wrong, or is it really missing?

It really is missing.. Office XP Pro (2002, I believe) did not include
Publisher.. you will have to buy it, but before you do that, look at other
products.. Serif Page Plus for instance..

I haven't used the latest version, but was a user up to version 6.. I still
would use it but the computer on which it is installed is over 4000 miles
away, and I have not yet arranged for it to be sent to me.. maybe I should
just ask for the CDs to be sent.. just thought of that.. lol..

Hi Milly,

MS Office XP with Frontpage was Enterprise Edition.
MS Office XP with Publisher was an OEM product.
