Publisher Version 2.0a

I use Publisher version 2.0a and have emailed some documents to a colleague
using Publisher 2007, who receives various error messages when trying to open
the files. Is it possible to open Publisher 2 files in Publisher 2007? The
error message apparently seemed to suggest that 2007 was interpretting the
files as being password protected.

Thanks Rob. That's exactly the information I was looking for, but I spent
most of an afternoon scouring the Microsoft site without finding anything
dating back as far as Publisher 2. Not exactly the news I wanted to hear,
but helpful none the less. Thanks again,

I can open these files with Publisher 95, 97 and 98. If you need to have the
files upgraded send them to me and I will upgrade them for you. Your best
solution would be to print them to a PDF converter. There are free converters
around. www.primopdf.com has been recommended often here.
