Publisher/Windows/Word comaptibility

I'm using Win98SE and Office with Word 2000 (Ver 9.2).

I want to import Word tables into a DTP program. What is the latest version
of Publisher that will work with my versions of Windows and Word?

You can run Publisher 2002 on Win 98. Has nothing to do with Word.

I have huge tables created in MSWord for a catalog. Obviously, Word isn't
up
to the DTP side of it, so I want to transfer them into Publisher. Will
Publisher 2002 accept Word 2000 (ver 9.2) material?

However you will lose some if not quite a bit of formatting when importing.

Ah. Thanks. That's the other thing that I needed to know.
