If I understand what you mean, no.

(I'm assuming you mean a version suitable for use on a network, with
different users working on different parts of a file at the same time.)

If you are referring to needing to have every version of Pub in order to
open a file created by that version (such as you posted in the web
section) this is not true. Why do you insist on posting lies?
