Publishing a website to the internet???

Okay, I know this must sound silly to most of you web-experts, but I cannnot
make head nor tail of the instructions to publish a publisher website to the
web???? I have treid and yet it hasn't worked, I am exceptionally confused
and the instructions just aren't in plain English.......can anyone help and
just make it simple?!?!?!

Yes, I did use Publisher 2000 for all three sites. One is for our lodge,
one for a lodge in Oregon and a test site. The last is for trying out
java scripts and other experiments. Then I work on our Grand Lodge site
which uses something called Cold Fusion or some such thing.

Ol dad here doesn't want to invest a lot of time into something that will
consume a lot of his time remaining before going to room temperature.
Being retired, my time is devoted on harvesting the evil green, money.

Our daughter, 15+ is the website genius in our family; she builds using
code. Ya know how those 4.0 grade point kids are; it's gotta be perfect
or it gets the reject stamp.

If you continue with Publisher, you will eventually switch, so why not now?
