Pulbisher can not load files from a different version

I have a brochure I created a couple years ago in Publisher (I thought it was
97). When I open Publisher and click "Open Exiting Publication" I can see
the brochure, but I can't open it. I am getting the error message that
"Pulbisher can not load files from a different version". Any suggestions on
how to open this short of telling me to buy another version?

If you have Norton, disable "script blocking" and try again. If that doesn't do it
disable "office plug-ins" in Norton options.

Mary, Thanks for taking the time to answer. I don't have Norton
(Anti-Virus?). I use Zone Alarm. Where would I disable "script blocking"?

Mary's instructions only apply to NAV. I'd offer to assist you, but I don't
have 97 installed (the disc is somewhere though). I believe Jo has it, maybe
she'll help you.

Send the file to me and I will save it to whatever version Publisher you have. I have
all the versions. Do you have Publisher 97 or a newer version?

Mary, many thanks for taking the time to help. I have Publisher 97. I
thought I created the brochure in 97 but maybe not. How do I send or attach
the file to get it to you?

Somehow the "Remove "my" to reply got lost. You can also send it to msauer at
publishermvps.com or laserdog at columbus.rr.com

Yippee! I was able to solve the problem. I created it in MS Pub 2000 and was
trying to open it in MS Pub 97. I opened it on another computer. Thank your
for all your efforts on my behalf. It's nice to know you are there.
