putting a split mark

Hi there,

I am trying to show a demarkation between two phases of a project, so I
would like a thick vertical line to appear on the gantt chart at a
certain date (when phse 1 finishes and phase 2 starts).

Can anybody help??

Hello ProjectNewbie,
A milestone should be enough to show the demarcation between two phases.
Nevertheless, you can draw a vertical line with the Drawing tool bar.
Select this vertical line, then:
Format / Drawing / Properties /Size & Position
Attach to task : the milestone row.
Then drag and drop the vertical line so that is cover the milestone
