PWA tasks not clearing out

I'm experimenting with notifications. When I change a task and
collaborate, the tasks for any affected resources show up in PWA as
expected. However, they don't clear out. Even though I've
collaborated (and that little envelope icon in the project goes away),
a second collaboration brings back the entire list. when does a "new
and changed assignment" become old and unchanged?

not sure what you mean "a task and collaborate" ?? are you updating your
task and entering in % completed or something like that ??

On PS07, the task will be dipslayed for a duration of 10D (or depending on
what PS admin) has set in the task display options. These tasks will still be
displayed in mytask grid, even if they are 100% completed. (known bug in
PS07) an if they are within the criteria as set in the task settiing pf PWA.

As for the " "new and changed assignment" become old and unchanged?", it
could be because the PM is not accepted update and has repulished the project
from MP07 side (Client).

Thanks pd, this helps a lot. Only thing is I'm on 2003, and I am the
project administrator. After looking at these issues it looks like it
works the same way as on 2007, can you confirm this? thanks. Naomi

In PS07 this can only happens, when PM updates project without sucking in
tasks updates from Users.

So far, We have mandated PM to (a) either approve/reject task prior to
uploading a project in MS07 for review /change and publishing becuase of the
"new and changed assignment" become old and unchanged" syndrome.

Its more of a work flow/ educationl thingy rather then a systems thingy -
