Question about Catalog Merge and Image Size

L

LPelham

I am creating a catalog for a person who sells jewelry in Publisher 2003.
Everything is working fine except she says the images that are merged are
blurry. The images she sent me are not very good to begin with and all
different sizes (some huge, some postage stamp).

She is having a professional photographer take new pictures. I told her I
thought if all the images were the same size, it would solve the problem. Am
I correct here? Is there any particular size they should be so they look the
best in the catalog?

Thanks in advance!

You can't make crummy originals look good...well maybe a little but not
much.

I can top that.

I'm creating/revising a policy manual for a primary care organization. One
of the policies concerned the medical records of active patients as opposed
to those patients who transferred, died, whatever. The original statement
was "Deceased patients shall be kept separate from active records." Geez - I
would hope they would!

Another policy deals with patients who show up more than 10 minutes late for
their appointment. It stated that the nurse was to inform the doctor that
the late patient arrived.

And they couldn't figure out why I'd be sitting in my office chuckling. :)

Thanks Rob for actually taking the time to answer my question, not my
grammar. I thought the problem was that the original pictures were just bad,
but was looking for someone who had experience this, not people with time on
their hands to make fun of my sentence.

Don't worry about Sarah...she's persnickety...an not poifect either.

Start with an image of good quality because it's all downhill from there :)

Well. Nice job! You led us through a prime example of a total waste of time.
YOU=**** OP=PERSON SEEKING HELP
See the difference?

Give it up, Jimbo - you've lost the battle! Sarah knows just what
buttons to push in order to touch off your indignant responses. She
throws out the line - and you take the bait...

Blessed be, for sure...
