I am trying to figure out the best way to build a simple customer survey. I
am thinking of building a data access page with Access and linking it to a
table in SQL Server. I am trying to brainstorm on the best solution from
what I have to work with. I don't have the internet or intranet to publish
this on, so users will have to bring up a form themselves to fill out a
survey. Currently, we will manually be inviting users to fill these surveys
out because there will be nothing such as a work order to tie their survey
back to.
I am trying to find out:
a. The best way to send out a link to the survey on our network or otherwise
and how to tie it back to the job performed by that customer if there is no
formal process in place to track the requests.
b. The best way to store and track the data (either via a SQL table, or
directly in access)
Any discussion or suggestions would be appreciated. I am fairly new to this
so I could use some good advice. If this question belongs somewhere else,
please let me know.
Thanks!
