question on Master slide

I have many slides in my presentation. In the footer I have the same thing
except for the first and last slide. Is there a way I can do this through
the master slide? Can I have the same footer on all slides but the first and
last slide? If so how do I do it. Thanks in advance.

If you want NO footer on two slides
Go to slide sorter view and ctrl click the two slides to select
View > header and Footer and untick footer
Click APPLY (not apply to all)

If you want a DIFFERENT footer and you have XP or 2003 then you can insert a
duplicate master, change the footer and apply to only these two slides
(select slides, hover over design and in drop down choose > selected slides
only)
