Is it possible to import data from one excel document to another?

Example, I would like to import cell b14 of document A to G12 o
document B.

Is this possible? If so, how?

enter something like the following in G12
='path\[document A.xls]Sheet1'!B14

Wouldn't it be easier (with less chance of typing the formula wrong) to just do "=" then click on the cell on the worksheet they would like to reference??
