Hi team
1) What's the difference between timesheet approval and the task update
procedure. I want to know this since I am approving the tasks for my projects
and I also have to approve the same tasks in the timesheet approval feature.
2) Assuming I have Admin Project 'A', running for a couple of months now.
a) A new resource joins the team. I want this resource to start reporting on
the admin tasks from the date he joins the team. How can I do this?
b) A resource leaves the team. My understanding on Admin Project tasks is
that these do not affect resources availability on other projects, thus these
should be duration fix type tasks. This said, when I I remove this resource
trying to keep the task duration, Project immediately recaulculates resources
time into the project. I have ugly cases of 113% and 125% of a resource time
in the Vacation task!!!
