Queue Job: Reporting (WSS Sync) Status: Sleeping

Every time a publish a project the "Reporting (WSS Sync)" job sleeps
forever and never completes. This presents a multitude of problems
because none of the WSS workspace data syncs with the RDB (reporting
database).

I have seen this problem in multiple enviroments. Has anyone seen this
or seen a solution.

What do yo see happening in the Queue? Remember that failed jobs are purged
after a week, so publish a project and record the results if necessary.
