I am now using Office 2003 Professional. Because Windows XP SP2 has done away
with the Office Toolbar that I was used to using previously, I transferred
the Open Office Document and New Office Document start menu items to the
Quick Launch bar. So far so good. I often want to open more than one document
at a time, and often in more than one program (usually Word and Excel). This
was working fine; but now that I have installed Office 2003 SP1, Open Office
Document can only open one document at a time: the others merely generate the
error message "The program associated with the selected template cannot be
started, or the program cannot use the selected template".
How can I repair it so that it works properly -- or is this a bugl that I
must just put up with?
