quick outlook question

In Outlook 2002, if you select an e-mail in your Inbox it will supposedly show up in a preview pane...what do i configure to get this to happen? Also PLEASE take a look at my post a few below labeled "Two Outlook problems...please help" I really need answers/suggestions for those.

Only if you have your preview pane turned on. You'll
find that under "View".
