As custom attributes for a resource (such as RBS) change over time, how can
we retain the integrity of the data based on the attribute values at the
point in time that the actual work was entered?
example: A resource was a member of Team A last month, but is now a member
of Team B. The time that the resource entered last month should remain
associated with the fact that the resource was on Team A and not on the
current team assignment.
One thought is to leverage the Assignment RBS attribute, by populating it on
a save of the project; however, this approach would only be as accurate as
the resource RBS assignments at the point of last save - and would not
account for RBS changes midway through a project.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
