Why must I all of the sudden have to re-enter (sometimes multiple times) my
password everyday on startup of Outlook 2007?

Sorry, it's a Hotmail account that it checks.

Are you using the Outlook Connector and, if so, are you using the most
recent version? Is your Hotmail account a free one or a paid one?

Thanks, that seems to have worked...? While I was at it, I installed the
sound add-in. Everything seems to work except for the sound when mail
arrives? That was really the only feature I was after. I'm pretty sure I've
been through all the account preferences and checked the appropriate boxes
but maybe not. Any ideas on this one?

I don't think that Outlook will play a sound for Hotmail accounts, but I
don't know that for sure. Perhaps someone else can answer.
