re-formating flow charts

Is it possible to reformat things like line size, box size, text, etc. in
multiple flow charts at the same time? I am creating a document that requires
the use of many flowcharts (i.e. hierarchy smart art object) but the there
isn't an available style that is quite right and need to reformat the line
size, etc. of the individual text boxes within the chart. Is there a way to
reformat all of the text boxes for all of the flow charts at the same time?
Also, is it possible to turn off the the automatic text resizing feature?
Some one please help!

I'm afraid there appears to be no way to do what you ask - at least not
without the aid of a macro, but that I can't help with. Nor can the
auto-resizing behavior be turned off. Essentially, SmartArt Objects are
packages that come as they are & can only be modified within the scope
provided by their Format properties due to their complexity.

For future reference, what you can do is create one, format it as you choose
- again subject to its restrictions - then save it as a QuickPart then insert
a copy of it from the Gallery as needed. Although the formatting will be
retained the shapes will still auto-adjust based on content, however. You can
find info on QuickParts at:
