Re install Office

HI
I am just about (hopefully) to transfer my copy of Office XP Pro from my old
computer to my new one.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that this is not straightforward in
terms of registering it again or something.

Can I leave my existing installation on my old computer and install the
Office XP Pro on the new computer from the discs and then delete the old
installation without encountering any nasty Microsoft foubles. Will it let
me do this. The copy of the Office XP pro is a full licensed version which I
bought from Microsoft.

Also, I know there is a way but I have forgotten how to do it. I want to be
able to save all the settings on Excel and Word ( where I have customised the
tool bar etc.) so that I can then just install these settings when I have
installed Office on my new computer.

I really would be gratefull if someone could bet back to me as soon as
possible with any help.

Regards

Whether you could keep two installations depends on the Licence, EULA
When installing on the new PC, if online activation fails, use phone
activation

Settings; Does OfficeXp have a save my settings wizard?
