Reactivating office 2003

I am unsing Office Student and Teacher Edition 2003. Because I have had hard
disc problems I have had to delete and reinstall Office a number of times.
Because of this it is now operating in restricted mode. I called technical
help and they gave me a new product key. I then had to uninstall and
reinstall Office and put the new code in. I have done this but when I go to
help/activate product it just ignores the command and continues to operate in
restricted mode. Any suggestions?

I'm having the same problem. I have two computers. On one I have Windows
Office 2000 installed and the other had Windows Office 2003 installed. Due
to my efforts to troubleshoot a problem I removed and reinstalled Windows
Office 2003 several times. I attempted to reactive the product via the
internet - to no avail. The dialogue box then said I could activate by
telephone but it did not provide a number to call. I then called microsoft
support and spoke to someone who then re-routed my call to an automated
wizard that could not help me. I posted a message on this site detailing my
problem and within a days time my message was removed. With all of the
messages pertaining to the reactivation of Windows Office 2003 on this site,
I ask you all, "Do you think they really care?" I guess it really boils
down to this: once you've reached the maximum number of times allowed for
reactivation of this product - reguardless if you are reinstalling it on the
same computer, you're SOL.

I stand corrected. My posting dated the 25th of April 2005 was not deleted
from this site. I just saw it hasn't been deleted. Also sorry for the
misspelled word - it should be spelled "regardless."
