Read only rows/cells

Hi,

I have Word 2003 and I want to lock columns and/or cells in a table so that
the text in them is protected from being altered. Is it possible to do it
programmatically, or the only way is to do it thru the task pane/Protect
Document?

If you use the TOC on my long winded be all and end all to VBA for
task panes guide, you can track down some objects that are used by the
task pane to do exactly that
