Read only?

when i run my files on Office XP it opens them in read
only. this happens in all office applications.

Microsoft Access warns me my license may be out of date,
which i know is wrong.

any assistance on this matter would be appriciated.

If you're running your files from a CD or copying them from a CD, they will be marked as "read only" by default. If this is the case, go into your files' properties and uncheck "read-only".
