Reading attachments .ppt

I'm not a PowerPoint user, and the program is not on my computer. I receive
substantial mail with PowerPoint attachments, and I can't read them. I try to
set up a Folder in the Folder option in the Control Panel, but it doesn't
work.

Please advise me if I can receive .ppt files without the program on my
computer.

Thanks,
Bamboo

Thank you. BUT I downloaded the viewer and rebooted and I still can't read a
..ppt file. How to I set up the File Folder in the Control Panel?

This is what I see when I try to open a .ppt attachment: "This file does not
have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an
association in the Folders Options in the control panel." I did try that, but
maybe I don't know what to do.

As for opening the program. I found a shortcut in my Programs folder. When I
click, it takes me to find something, maybe the program itself.

hmmm? Any other suggestions would be appreciated. And thanks.
