Really annoying behavior

I have a large graphic in the document that is larger than
the Word window. I want to enter text beneath that
graphic, so I scroll the document to the place where I
will start typing. When I move the mouse to position the
cursor, if the mouse rolls over the graphic the document
scrolls up so that I'm viewing the top left of the
graphic. If the cursor is on the graphic and I use the
mouse wheel to attempt to scroll down, the document keeps
scrolling back to the top left of the graphic. Is there a
way to make it stop?

Don't think so, that's why we have scrollbars, keyboard etc

Change the picture to in line with text (Format/Object or
picture/ Layout tab) because your insert point is
currently under the graphic.

The graphic is already inline with the text. I checked it
just to be sure. This behavior doesn't occur with all my
graphics, just a few of the really large ones. I'm gonna
try a few things and see if the behavior stops. If you
have other ideas, Tammy, feel free to offer them.

Wow. The behavior doesn't happen until I apply a
conditional build tag to the graphic. Guess I'll go over
to ehelp and see if they have any ideas.
