Recalculating Hyperlinks

I am recalculating hperlinks with FP 2000. At the lower left corner in the FP
window, it says "Updating hyperlinks and text indices", and it has been going
on forever. How do I know it's done?

How long is forever??
How large is the website??

If you press Ctrl+Alt+Delete and look in task manager does FrontPage show as "Not responding"??
