Recent Ofs. Updates

My computer does not have "Office". It came with Works Suite 2002 plus a
full copy of Word '02. (I believe system refers to it as "Office 10...".)
OS is WinXP Home on a Dell computer. The 2 most recent Office Security
Updates show up as needed when scan is used. When I click for more details,
both indicate that they are for Office versions. In the past, Office Update
has never recommended a download/update for a product I did not have.

I hesitate to download something not needed or unuseable in my current
configuration. Could someone please advise me ?
Thanks much,

Word 2002 is part of Microsoft Office XP (v10) and
relies on files common to the products in that
Office suite, including Word. Where the files are
common to Office suite products you may not be
offered a separate update for 'just' the one app,
but the Office product update.

Thanks, BB:

Guess I ought to go get 'em, then..... Must be something on here that needs
them, after all.

Thanks again, for taking the time to reply.
