Recover ost file

I lost an Exchange user. I imported the archive file, but how do I recover
the ost file. I cannot import it, and I cannot get it to synchronize with
the Exchange Server 2003. Is it possible to recover this file? I ran scanost
on it, but that did not give me any options that I need.

Thanks.

If you have an "orphaned" OST file, your only option is
www.exchangerecovery.com ....OST files are permenantly linked to the
mailbox/server/mail profile for which they were created. '

When you say you "lost" an Exchange user, what do you mean? Have you tried
reconnecting a new, non-mail-enabled user to the deleted mailbox in System
Manager on the server?

Thanks for the reply. I will give the program a try.

I lost the mailbox by trying to do too many things at once along with a
power blip. I did not follow proper procedures. It is a test server, and the
only mailbox that I lost was mine. I was able to recover 95% of the mail so
it was not a big disaster.

Thanks again.
