Recover Photos found only in Publisher documents

I would like to recover some pictures that I have in my Publisher documents.
The originals are lost. When I right click and "save picture as", some
deterioration is apparent because the pictures are resaved in jpeg, and they
loose some resolution.

How do I take them out of the Publisher document unchanged, keeping the same
format in which publisher has stored it?

Have you tried copy/paste into a editing program such as Paint?

If the pictures are clipart you won't lose resolution if you save as picture,
wmf or emf.

Thanks, Mary. I'll try that. These are photos that were taken with my
digital camera. The hard drive on which the originals were stored has
crashed with no backup. Lesson learned!
