Recovery of note on mobile device

(Sorry if this appears twice, but it disappeared from by newsreader)

1. Created ON note on mobile device
2. Synched to PC
3. Changed on PC
4. Thought I had synched with mobile device
5. Changed on mobile device
6. Attempted synch with PC - got error message to overwrite one or other,
did not suit.
I guess at this point I should have made a copy of the note on the PC and
then overwritten the PC note, but...
7. Moved the PC note out of the mobile notebook
8. Synched the PC and mobile device
9. Note from mobile device is no longer on mobile device and does not appear
on PC.

Can it be recovered from the mobile device?

Thanks,
David

OK. Let's continue in here.
1. Created ON note on mobile device

5. Changed on mobile device
6. Attempted synch with PC - got error message to overwrite one or

PC and then overwritten the PC note, but...
YES.

7. Moved the PC note out of the mobile notebook

The latter meant that the note was out of reach for synching.
And naturally it also meant that the related note on the mobile device
would be scrolled off when synching.
8. Synched the PC and mobile device
9. Note from mobile device is no longer on mobile device and does
not appear on PC.

Naturally so.
When synching, the note on the mobile devices was killed as you had
moved the corresponding note on the PC out of the relevant notebook.
But you should have the original note on the PC at the location you have
it to.
Can it be recovered from the mobile device?

No. It's gone to Nirvana.
But you can move the note on the PC back into the synching area (OneNote
Mobile notebook).
