recurring calendar events shifting 4 hours after sync

I'm using Entourage 2008 and a blackberry storm syncing with "The Missing Sync". The sync setup works beautifully between all calendars...even my apple "mobile me" calendar. Whenever I schedule a recurring event, though, the event shifts down 4 hours after syncing. (BTW, my time zone setting is GMT -4). I've run across a Windows Live blog thread that lasted about a year where this exact problem was being addressed on the windows side with Outlook 07. was ultimately resolved with an Outlook update patch (Outlook Time Zone Data Updater, I believe). Is there a corresponding fix for Entourage?

All time zones are set correctly in all calendars and on blackberry. Again, single events sync beautifully...it's only recurring events that time shift after syncing.

I've never heard of this issue before.

At what point does the shift occur? If you put the recurring event into
Entourage and then sync to your BB, does the problem occur? How about if
you put the event into your BB first and then sync to Entourage? How
about if you start with MobileMe and then sync with just Entourage?

I don't believe the Outlook problem was the same as this. IIRC, it was
for Exchange events where the server was in a different time zone.
