Hi,
A recurring task is about the same as a summary task covering the different
detail tasks.
So its duration is the difference between the start of the first meeting and
the finish of the final one.
The figure thus is correct
You can see all the detail tasks by hitting the little plus sign in front of
your recurring task.
DURATIONS OF SUMMARY TASKS DO NOT ADD UP.

I'm using Project 2002 and am trying to setup some recurring, weekly
meetings. I schedule them for 0.5 days time and set then to reoccur on a
weekly basis. However, when Project calculates the time requirements I get a
figure of 124.5 hours total time. How can this be if there are only 4 x
4.5hr meetings??? Is there a setting I have missed? If so please help!!!!!
Thanks in advance!
