Recurring tasks and resource usage

I've set up some recurring tasks for status meetings. The resources have
been assigned and the duration has been set to 1 hour. But in the resource
usage view, the time is not reflected. Is there something I'm missing?

Thanks,
Brian

I just re-read this and I think it is vague. Here's a second attempt:

1. I set up a recurring task daily for 1 hour to represent a meeting.
2. I highlight each implicitly created subtask of the recurring task, open
the task information dialogue window, assign the resources, change the task
to Fixed Duration, clear the Effort Driven checkbox, choose the Standard
calendar, and clear the Schedule ignores resource calendar checkbox. For
some reason the duration cell is cleared in this dialogue window, so I set
that to 1 hour.
3. I switch to the Resource Usage view. The recurring tasks exist in the
task list for the assigned resources, but the work cells are all "0h". Seems
like the work cells should be "1h".

If I open up the task information dialogue window for individual subtasks,
everything appears in order to me (consistent with what was entered in step 2
above). If I again open up multiple subtasks, all the information I entered
in step 2 is missing.

Thanks,
Brian

The problem was that I was using creating the recurring task in an
administrative project. When I created it in a regular project, everything
worked as expected.

In our environment we have more projects than staff. The status meeting
covers multiple projects. Seems to me that the administrative project would
be a logical place to store this information, but I can work with it the way
it is.

Thanks,
Brian
